SECTR is an suite of modules for Unity that allow you to build the best looking, sounding, and most efficient games possible, all by taking advantage of the structure already present in your game world. When we design interactive worlds, we naturally think of them in terms of structured spaces like rooms, hallways, caverns, and plains. Unfortunately, most 3D software represents the world just as a collection of objects and vertices, without knowing the difference between a room and mountain range. SECTR changes that, by giving you the tools to define the spaces in your game (Sectors) and the connections between them (Portals). Once defined, SECTR can use this structure to enable cutting edge technologies like dynamic streaming, realtime audio propagation, and perfectly accurate occlusion culling.
